Paperclip Bow

I am sure there are a few of you out there who have fantasies about being Robin Hood, an Olympic archer or a Night Elf hunter. Well I can help you….to an extent. I won’t help you make tights, tell you how to catch and tame your own Nightsaber or how to dance like a female Night Elf. What I will do is tell you how to make a paperclip bow for use in your workplace to play out your fantasy as normal people do!
What you will need to make the bow is:
2 Paperclips
Cellotape
Rubber bands.
Some Lolly pop sticks or similar things to make arrows.
Something for a target, your boss maybe!
Okay once you have these items you are ready to make the bow. First take your paperclips and unfold them and straighten them out until they are almost perfectly straight. Now cellotape the paperclips together in the middle so you have a strong join which won’t crumple easily. Take 2 rubber bands tie them in the middle by inserting one though the other and then back though one side of the loop that is made and pulling it tight. Bend the paper clips so there is a U shape at each end of the bow making sure that the top of each U is facing outwards when the bow is bent. String the bow with the rubber band string making sure it is tight. Once you are happy with the tightness bend the U shapes over so they make loops which the rubber bands can’t slip out of. Once that is done you have a new bow. Take an arrow, load and fire!
